The Market
Our large pop-up markets are quarterly events hosted in the warehouse space at the Well Coffee House located in the River Park neighborhood of South Bend Indiana. The market is completely stocked by community donations! Think of it as a thrift store where everything is totally free. We also provide a free cloths mending station sponsored by MAKE South Bend where volunteers will help you with minor garment repairs and alterations. There will also be live music the final day of the market!
Donation drop off time periods are scheduled a week ahead of the upcoming market event (see blog for more info). We ask that you drop off donations during these times so we can work to organize and set up the market before it opens to the public. The Free Market accepts everything from furniture to toiletries. Please make sure donation items are in working condition and not expired. All left over donations are kept for the Mini-Mart or thoughtfully distributed to other charities and organizations in the South Bend area.
Cash donations are greatly appreciated but not necessary to participate. There is no limit to the amount of items you can take. New items are being put out continuously so be sure to stop by more than once!
This is a community effort and we ask that you help keep the market tidy when attending.
