The Free Market is entirely run, stocked and funded by community volunteers and donations!
Volunteers are need to help set up, organize, staff and tear down for large Market events. We are also looking for volunteers skilled in sewing for the MAKE mending station. The Sunday before a market event we gather at the Well to set up market space and organize all the donation. This is the day we need the most help! Through out the market we need volunteers to help continue to sort though, put out donations and keep the space tidy. Market days are typically schedule in 1-2 hour shift. Tear down consists of sorting out left over donations and delivering them to other local organizations throughout the South Bend area. If you would like to volunteer at all please follow the link to fill out the volunteer form!
Cash donations are greatly appreciated but not necessary to participate. The Mini-Mart is always accepting small item donations but we ask you hold on to large items and quantities for Market events (see market page for more info).
